UPDATE !!!!!

I called fedex to despute their denial claim. I am trying to get this issue resolved to please all parties!

I am sending fedex's claim department copies of the pictures that are showing the damage to the clutch. Since their current report protocal must not know how to inspect a clutch. This issue should (as they said) be resolved by the end of the week. From that point, the buyer would recieve his money and an additional $50.00 for the damaged clutch. I just found out the clutch is at the fedex/kinko's that I shipped it out from.

I will be out of town from tomorrow morning until sunday evening. And I will not have any access to the internet. So pm me you phone# so I can give you an up to date status on this. Any questions call me on my cell (708) 268-6027 -Jay

Crawlin is a good guy. I met him once off-roading when we almost flipped his truck. He doesn't seem like a guy who's out to screw anyone.

I think there's more to the story than what the guy that bought it is admitting.

i hate to stick my nose in this, since i'm not involved, but have the pics posted by the seller been compared to the ones posted by the buyer? if the clutch was worn evenly when it left the seller, and worn unevenly when it reached the buyer, i just dont see how that could happen... unless there was a gnome power shifting inside the shipping box...

ive already asked about that. he says he deleted them from the thread, from his computer, and from his camera...?..to make room for space. why i dont know...unless his space is really limited.
all i know is WHAT I COULD SEE in the pic didnt look that way. it looked usable to me. it is worn to the rivets in some places, some not. apparently everybody that saw the clutch either didnt take a good look at it or doesnt know what its supposed to look like.

im sure hes good guy. im not calling him a crook or anything. im just saying he got in a hurry, made a mistake, and wont admit it. everybody makes mistakes.

all im saying is somebody needs to take responsiblity for this. i spent $125 on a clutch disk. now it gets to my house unusable. wouldnt you feel screwed? yes. 125 bucks of my hard earned money down the drain. all of you would do the same thing im doing now.
the part came to me damaged and unusable....the way i see it 1 of 2 parties is responsible:

1. crawlinws6
2. fedex

which really the way i see it crawlinws6 is responsible. he is the one who sold the clutch worn like that, and packaged it poorly, it got damaged. now hes claiming it was usable when it left his hands. now his pics are gone.
but he insists on putting the blame on fedex. so now we are having a claim done again, and im trying to get my money back out of them. of course they are probably going to deny the claim again which wouldnt suprise me, cause they dont even know what clutch even is!!
if no one wants to sympathize with me thats fine. but all i did was open a box. everybody thinks im automatically the bad guy and thats not fair. im not gonna sit here and let somebody take my money and screw...and every one of you would do the same thing in my place. i didnt do anything wrong....im not the one selling people BROKE ****!!

A few things! The fedex claim has been accepted now. There is a check for the amount of $124.25 being mailed to my address.

Now I have gone well over and beyond my half on this. And I WILL NOT send you that money unless the neg feedback is deleted. I went over and beyond what I had to do. And there is alot of people that agree with me that I was not in the wrong. And I went and did everything I can to get fedex to pay for this. And to be honest with you. I still don't think fedex is in the wrong. And I am going to the place I sent out the clutch, and going to see the condition it is now in. And if this turns out to be all B.S. then we will need to talk furture.

But again, since I am what you call a bad person or however you put it. I should not send you the money back. Have a mod delete the neg feedback and once I get the money it will be sent out to you..

first of all, i believe that money belongs to me. you have no legal right to with hold it from me. this is not a negotiation. you got negative feedback for selling me a bungled clutch, not packaging it for shipping properly, and refusing to refund my money. you deserve what you got and i see no reason to retract the negative feedback...other than the fact im tired of arguing.

as for contacting fedex all you did was make a phone call. then you sent me a message saying it was denied oh well. of course you had to call them, i called them and they wont talk to me...their policy is they will only talk to the shipper. youre trying to use your good reputation on here and the fact that you have friends on here backing you up as leverage.
go over there and see the disk yourself. your still accusing me of doing it. you said i was pointing fingers. well what are you doing?

i did not once in here call you a bad person. i even said "im sure hes a good guy he just made a mistake"....sheesh.

Bullshit. This entire mess is due to something you sold. Send the man his money back, and then we'll talk about editing feedback comments. I'm willing to work with you on that if FL agrees to it, but you owe him the refund ASAP.

Send him the refund, and I'll remove the feedback related to this. End of discussion.

FL, let us know when the refund is received. This crap is going entirely too long, get it over with.

Ok for someone that is saying that you have been screwed. Then in the next breath saying that you shoved it up my ***. Says 2 things about you.

A) That you are full of b.s. as everyone says.
B) You were touched by Mike Jackson a few years back!

Great! There is someone with a level head. I will send his money right out. Fedex's sent out the check and if I don't recieve it by the beginning of next week (due to holiday) I will send him a personal check out for the amount.
