On May 16 I purchased a shifter from SSMaro98. I was told he would ship it the following day and send me a tracking number. It's been 1 month and I haven't heard from him since.
I pm'd him and emailed him multiple times with no response. And after June 3 he stopped visiting this site.
The thread the shifter was purchased from is no longer there, so I can't post a link.
He had a good trader rating so I felt comfortable dealing with him. BIG MISTAKE.
I have filed a claim with paypal in an effort to get my money back.
In the event that he returns here, stay away from him at all costs.

Hey man, I feel for you. I bought an off-road y-pipe from him May 1st, sent the money and have yet to receive it. I don't know how to quote an IM but I never deleted any of them and here's a copy and paste of the one where he told me his number and paypal email.

I had asked for his phone number, but I've never been able to reach him. Is there anyway to get paypal money back, especially after this long?

I'm not sure what the time limit is on opening a dispute or filing a claim, but you should give it a shot. This guys obviously a scammer.
