Default Bad trader? Help guys. 2000turbovert

I went into a transaction for a Harris nitrous kit with 2000turbovert on 7/30 in this thread---- https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/757681-big-part-out-ls1-performance-stuff.html ---and it clearly states that the kit is "brand new" missing jets. No biggie, I can get jets. So he directs me to Harris website

http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=365&page=1

As you can see the kit there shows a bottle bracket, WOT switch and some wiring and all the connectors you should need. I only mention these because he didnt send them. I sent PM after PM and he read them but did not respond. I filed with Paypal and then he is able to respond. Now Paypal thinks that because he sent a box of something that they dont care. He could have sent a box of rocks they just dont care. Now he wont respond again. Last PM said he would overnight the bottle bracket and WOT switch, but that was Monday at 10am. That doesnt complete the kit, but I can deal with that.

Well as you guessed no parts and it is now Thursday and he wont reply to my PM again. The kit was not in its origional packaging(remember he claimed it was "brand new"). Parts are missing, and the parts I did get were obviously installed and are partially assembled. Maybe not filled with nitrous, but clearly not "brand new"

Now I really dont care about that, but at this point I want one of three things to happen. I need money back to buy the missing parts, or a full refund, or the parts immediately to install this unit. Now I am even worried that it might not work once installed.

Help me get this resolved. I paid him on 7/30 and he even left me positive feedback that day because I followed through with my part of the deal. I dont know what to do at this point.

By the way, he doesnt deny he owes me these parts, just being a jerk about shipping them out because I dared say the kit was not "brand new".

Nobody?? Ok nevermind, I am reselling this "not so new" kit and moving on. I guess some people are just jerks and dishonest. Watch out for this guy.

So I left him the appropriate negative feedback and I guess I learned my lesson. Paypal is useless when you need protection as a buyer and pretty much anyone can screw you as long as they can get a tracking number for a box of rocks in a reasonable amount of time.

There are always two sides to a story, so if he chimed in with his side that would help. But if what you are saying is completely unbiased, I'd say keep fighting it. He's a sponsor on here and IMHO that **** doesn't fly.

Ok....

Now lets see the other side to the story..

I PM'ed you and told you the situation.

I had to have surgery on my elbow.. Was down and out for a week or so.. Then I told you I couldnt find the WOT switch I promised with the kit.. I PURCHASED ONE for you and was there a thanks? Nope.

I told you the package was being sent out and it is.. Im sorry for the delay, but I am juggling inbetween school, here, physical therapy, etc....

And you keep saying this kit is not new.... Because the fittings are in the solenoid?? That did nothing but save you time.. Your bitching and you got a 300 dollar nitrous kit for 175 dollars.....

What happend to grateful people.... Nitrous Bottle go for 100-150 bucks BY THEM SELVES!

Your package is on the way, and be rest assured I will NEVER do business with you agian!

Just to find out what was up because I couldn't see anything wrong with what he sold vs what you said you got:

Matt does admit he is a little slower on the shipping of buying a new relay for you that was not included in the sale at no cost to you. He will ship that out today if he has time, Monday is more likely. He's swamped at work and has not only talked to you on the phone but has the pm's.

All "wiring" is sold seperate on NOS systems and for good reason. Its worth checking out the Nitrous forum here to see if you want a bottle warmer, what kind of bracket, how and where you want to wire it all in. You can fab one up from a standard kit all Nitrous sellers carry or use a stock one that is sold on any of those sites - it is not included simply because so many install their kits differently and would be griping because they got a "one size fits all but my set up" product.

The probability of this being a miscommunication on the buyers part for not asking is due to where this post is and how feedback was left. Read the stickies. They are your friend.

Wait a minute, dont even go there. I paid promptly on 7/30 for a "brand new" kit. BRAND NEW KITS ARE NOT MISSING PARTS. Take a look at that pic on Harris website(link in the first post), it has wiring. That is the link I was sent and the pic on that link has WIRING.

So you say I shouldnt have gotten a bottle bracket??? A WOT switch??? In a "brand new" kit it should be there. And trust me, I ASKED and PMed him plenty of times with no responses. I NEVER talked to him on the phone, as you claim. Brand new kits are assumed to be COMPLETE unless otherwise stated. It was not otherwise stated, with the exception of the jets. I have a PM from you saying the parts were in(which again why werent they in when you sold it to me)and you were shipping it overnight the next day. That was Monday. Then you have time to read my PM but not reply???? Come on.

I wont call him out, but I just got a PM from another buyer with the same problem. I am not the only one.

One lie after another. You first say on 8/1 that you realized your error because you saw the WOT switch there and said you would ship out some missing parts ASAP, then on 8/13 you claim you couldnt find the WOT switch and had to order a new one???? And at that time you said you would OVERNIGHT THEM in the morning. I have all the PMs between us if anyone is interested. I dont have time to play these games. The kit was advertised as BRAND NEW, not nearly new partially assembled. BRAND NEW. Not missing parts, not missing anything. BRAND NEW IS BRAND NEW and this kit was not brand new. Nearly new, not used missing parts, maybe, but not BRAND NEW.

I should thank you for waiting 2 weeks til I file a claim with Paypal to reply with parts I should have gotten to begin with?? I dont think so. Then once Paypal makes a decision that wont take anything from you then you dont follow through with your commitment and stop answering PMs again.

Not very good customer service, thats for sure. Take some advice and keep people informed by answering PMs and giving people updates. And to say you had surgery etc etc, well that is all well and good, JUST KEEP PEOPLE INFORMED and follow through with commitments. During that time you were supposedly down and out, you ran more ads, set up a sponser posting, and read all my PMs but were to far down and out to give me an update??? When you told me on 8/1 that you had the parts and would send them
ASAP???

It is also not right that a negative feedback mark can be just removed. That is just not right. It is obvious that you think I am lying and he is fully truthfull in every way. He was not.

i'm gunna have to side with mnypitZ after seing the pics.. this kit was flat out misrepresented.. no if or ands about it.. then he got the run around and the sellers agreeing to having done it.. while there are circumstances that is in NO way the buyers problem.. you put something for sale you should ship it out promptly after receiving funds as described period.. wheres the argument here??

The problem is we don't have pictures of what was sent out and what was received. If it said 'brand new' yet was missing nozzles then it is always a good idea to call and run a check list of what is included in the sale.
This should be done with every sale here - it would eliminate I say/they say situations.

Seller/Sponsor said they will ship the missing brackets and relay - I'll monitor to make sure they are sent.

On a "brand new" item that a seller submits Harris website to reprent his item more pics should not be necessary. I mean get real. Brand new should be as it came from Harris. Not missing parts, not partially installed, etc etc.

I will let you know if he ships the extra parts. It really doesnt matter to me, but this guy should have thought about what "brand new" means before advertising as such. At this point, he has made so many contradictory statements that it doesnt matter. Commitments to ship "asap", "overnight", etc make him dishonest at best. I can provide PMs if necessary if anyone wants to see the contradictions first hand.

Ive been reading about this for awhile now and everytime I see this it makes me sick. I am glad you have been a pit bull about this and I hope you get justice. I have sold alot of things on this board and I would never do the things mentioned on here. It only makes it harder for everybody else to sell things.

WOW, my negative was removed again. I thought you were supposed to have a link to the origional F/S post, but now they tell me I am supposed to put this thread link in there. I guess I misread it. I have resubmited negative with a link here. I hope this is good enough. He has lied over and over and the moderators keep defending him. I just dont get it. I dont want to get banned, but this is just wrong. He said he would ship it asap and he was sorry but 2 weeks later nothing til I file with Paypal. Then he says overnight. Now it is a week later and nothing.

How many times do I have to give him a pass on what should have been a "brand new" kit???

i saw the kit when john (mnypitz) brought it to my shop for install. it's a used kit. fittings had wrench marks on them, bottle scratched up from the missing brackets, no WOT switch or bracket, no jets, no wiring that's provided with the kit from harris, and pressure gauge already installed on the bottle (doesn't come that way from harris).

john's original picture from another thread about his excitement of his 'new' parts. i can guarantee that cam in the pic is new as i picked it up for him from vinci.

brand new missing jets doesn't = missing jets, WOT switch, bottle brackets, both mounting brackets for the noid and WOT switch, wiring, relay and relay connector.

Left Ziplock bag.... I could have sworn that the little black square with the red, black and yellow wire is the relay (Wiring) That comes with the kit....

And the red square with line coming off of both sides... I believe thats an inline fuse?? i could be wrong...

And so the solenoid has the fittings screws in (saves you time and work) and the bottle has the bottle washer and gauge on- makes this a used kit???

WOW!!!!

First thing, the link you kept leaving had nothing to do with what you say was received. We went over that in PM.

Second, the sponsor was contacted about the sale as soon as it was brought to my attention to address this and did. Now they have addressed it again and is open for input, not bashing. Advertising as "Never used" would have been more appropriate. The brackets, WOT plate and a bundle of red, yellow and black wires missing from the picture. It is a total of $41.70 from Harris to make the kit the same as pictured in the for sale thread. I'm sure the seller will make this right but to whom...

What was left out is the first buyer that posted this sold it after they got it then posted parts were missing. Now first buyer says they really are not concerned if they get the parts or not - so what is it you want?
You got me involved in this, each side needs to get over their pride and own up to the full story and come to a reasonable agreement.
