i drove 60 miles from my house to chads house in person to look at this to see what was going on to get started working on his car. so i have seen the intake in person.

and i will say paypal doesnt take fraud lightly. you may get away with it here on ls1 tech but pay pal is way bigger which is owned by ebay and they do not take fraud with a grain of salt. and on the paint job you can tell it was a rushed job.

Obviously everyone that keeps posting is over looking what i am saying. I have bought and sold probably close to 600 items here on ls1tech alone, since trader feedback i have had 150 all positive. I have dealt with every possible transaction issue possible.

I am not here to really point fingers but i do some things, and i would not stick my reputation out here for something that i didnt know was true. Ricky is a very honest guy and has shown it here plenty of times, I do know that he swapped his ls1 intake for and ls6 and there have been threads here about it as well. I have seen the intake many times before and thats the only intake he had. I know he just bought a 90/90 and was selling the ls6 intake, I know because he offered it to me and my other friend.

He was even nice enough to paint it for him as well, and he does do great paint, i have seen complete cars and parts painted by him and they are flawless.

This whole thing turned into a huge pissing match and i feel it should really be moved into the feedback and moderated by mods. I know everyone is so apt to jump down the sellers throat, but you wouldnt believe what people try to do. I also dont think some of the comments from people here are 100% necessary as well. Tim

Paypal is actually not owned by ebay at all. Paypal has been around since 1998, ebay only started using it in 2002. And i dealt with them probably 20 times and they definitely get it straight, so it will be figured out. I have already contacted them about this as well. Tim

I really don't appreciate you saying this about me as well. It actually does mean i am an honest person since i have been 100% honest with close to 600 people here alone who i have transactions with and you should care about my reputation. Most of the comments i see you make usually aren't that nice and don't help anyone out anyway. Tim

Why would you contact ebay about it? It has nothing to do with you. Why don't we have all of chad's friends and rick's friends contact paypal. Then they can decide by who has the most friends.

Why would i contact ebay? I talked to paypal about the claim. Only the buyer and shipped have can actually have an effect on the outcome. I have been through it many times before, they will get it right. Not sure what you are exactly talking about though. Tim

Well it isnt half the peoples business who have posted in here either but they still seem to have a response, Tim is helping me as i have never had to go down this road before. Everyone seems to jump down the sellers throat, when its not always sellers fault

im not a friend of chad i was just asked to work on his car because he met me at the track and seen that i do work on ls1 vehicles. i have headers and truduals ready to go for him and to put his intake on but got held up because it is not the rite intake. the only thing i know of chad is he goes to lsu and lives in a dorm on campus so i know he doesnt have acess to alot of stuff.
he is not looking to rip anyone off only looking to get a llittle bit of gain with budget mods. it was a disapointment that i had to drive 60 miles 1 way to see this when i could have been at home doing other things after working all day. so im not trying to **** on anyone or point fingers. but only to say it was a shady deal with out proper pictures and no return adress any decent seller puts a return addy when shipping stuff and when a customer isnt satisfied comes to a resolution.

First of all, thats great that you had many successful transactions, but i wasn't dealing with you in anyway, so that has nothing to do with this problem.

Second, your trader rating has nothing to do with rickys. I have exposed ricky and his scam. Now what he tells you may be a different story. I have posted pics of the intake i received today, and nothing more really needs to be said. Its the wrong intake, plain and simple.

Ricky's story has so many contrasting statements and it has become quite ridiculous. As far as you contacting Paypal, whoopie!!! Glad we have the Paypal police on LS1tech.

Ricky you have yet to contact me personnally to come to any kind of resolution. I tried to do this privately and you have made no response. You have yet to give me any sort of return address....

This thread should be moved to feedback. Instead of a tech forum where it is just needlessly boosting people's post count.

One of you guys is full of ****. I've seen this kind of stuff go both ways in the past.

Facts:
1) No pics of ACTUAL intake being sent (even though Chad shouldn't have sent money without actual pics)
2) No return address on package

Pics of actual should have been sent to protect BOTH parties.

Buying parts online is a big risk, one which everyone should know about.

I'm moving this thread to trader feedback.

and neither does your opinon man, your sticking your nose in something it doesnt belong, why shouldnt he stick up for me chad has all his buddies doing the same, well one for sure. Anyhow it seems everyone who posted in here other than the mods has no business if your statement is true, however when you post on a forum, EVERYONE has the right to post, and Tim is a member and yes a personal friend, however, trader feedback doesnt lie, it reflects customer service, and ask anyone ive dealt with.

What Rick doesn't explain is how Tim Pm'd me and threatened "to get me banned" after he called me immature names. Regardless the facts have been layed out, and RICK has not responded to my PM's with any sort of resolution. He simply is a crook, and untill he mans-up to what he did, thats what the 1500 plus people who have read this thread will realize.
