I just bought an LS6 Intake, and just found out that it has the provisions for AIR/EGR. I have already deleted my air/egr for my race headers so my question is is there anyway for me to use this intake??

go to autozone and buy a freeze plug, i deleted my egr and i used that to fill the hole

i think its a 1 3/8" or a 1 3/4" freeze plug

i have never seen an ls6 with the egr setup on it the only ones i know of are stock ls1 intakes

It might be a SLP LS6 intake, those came with the EGR provision. What you need is to post the part number off the manifold.

You can get them either way from SLP.

Actually now that I think of it all you have to do to verify if its an LS6 is look at the underside of the manifold.
Flat= LS6
Concave= LS1

Since it's been beaten like a dead horse that you can get them with EGR I will save my comment. I don't think there are any AIR provisions on an intake manifold, or at least nothing that changes. Air is that Jarvik 7 looking thing in the rear of the engine bay and the tubes that go to the headers that comprise the system. Post up part #.

I don't see an EGR. Bottom looks flat, from the pics it def looks like an LS6. Good buy!

So what part do you think is EGR? That is a non EGR LS6 intake.

My only thought is that he mixed up what was/is EGR/AIR. If the bottom wasn't flat it'd be a corvette LS1 intake, but since it's flat, I'd say just don't think about it and enjoy the part If you really want to put it all to sleep, post a P/N here.
