Ebay seller flaked out on me

Ebay seller flacked out on me I bought a spoiler from some guy on ebay that was from Wings West. I was the winning bidder at $152, the retail is about $400 and the paint matched my car already which probably saved me several hundred bucks. I was supposed to pick it up today, but he said some kids broke into his garage and stole everything he had that wasn't bolted down including the spoiler. What do you guys think, it really got stolen, or he put about $600 into the spoiler and is only getting $152 for it. I try and give most people the benifit of the doubt, but I can see someone holding out. What should I do, thanks
Re: Ebay seller flacked out on me I think he is trying to get out of selling it to you for that cheap. He realized he is getting way below what it is worth especialy with it painted and decided not to sell. I would watch out on ebay and see if he relist it later on and then get him by making a claim with ebay.
Re: Ebay seller flacked out on me what JPR said. Or at least a police report reference number that you can call his local PD and verify. Otherwise, I'd mention reporting him to ebay and leaving negative feedback.
