Default Response to PSJ since post is locked

Pro Stock John wote:

>>>Hey Tony aka a kllrvet I TOTALLY AGREE with your first post. I totally forgot that we had clearanced the torque arm. I can't even remember where it's clearanced it was over three years ago. Dave that guy who ran Nostalgia Pro Mod is a chassis guy so again... you throw people at me, so I REBUTTED by telling you that someone who ran Pro Mod was involved in setting the parts up.

Again I agree, I forgot we clearanced it, that's why I IMMEDIATELY agreed to take it back.

Now, on to those personal comments. kllrvett I get 100 emails a day. A day. Not spam, real emails. I also have a 9-5 job. I'm not afraid of you or KH, I won't get specific but anyone who knows me knows I am not a little guy NOR a *****. So stop trying to create a fire where there is none. I'm not in the least bit skeered. I'm not sure who you are but I've been around this scene since late 1997 and I have tried not to be an ******* and I think would be considered an okay guy by most people.

But I am annoyed that someone filed some gay little complaint and then has the ballz to say I read emails before I left. Don't you people have any patience?

And furthermore who created this forum I DID.

I don't recall when you got the torque arm but the last time I think I logged onto the internet was either Friday June 27th (for sure) but possibly Saturday the 28th midday since I got up at 4am on the 29th to drive to Watersmeet Michigan.

We can do this all day but it's hard to twist this stuff on me since I in fact operate in good faith on stuff. In my opinion you overreacted KH when I went on vacation and you did not hear from me, but don't be a baby and say I read the emails BEFORE I left. I distinctly recall reading your emails about the clearancing on Monday from work and thinking "oh crap we did clearance the bracket I'm gonna call HJoe right now."

My reply:

At some points you try to come across as a victim, and others you freely admit making a mistake. That confuses me.

Face it the problems you had were of your own doing. You were out of town, and couldn't be reached. How was Keith supposed to know that? All he could tell, was that he was getting ignored. He follwed through with the appropriate action to get his money back. Why is that such a big deal to you? If he waited too long, he would have zero recourse. I understand you say you will give him a refund, but when he wasn't getting a response, how was he to know that? Even though you say what he did was wrong, he never attacked you, or called you a theif or liar on an open forum. And yet you call him out on this forum, and call him a bumch of childish names when you were in the wrong. How mature is that? You talk about how old you are, but act as a child, by bucking resposibilty. So, who really is the baby here? If you were in his position, you owe it to yourself to do anything you can recover your money in a situation like this.

Face it, you own Keith his money, an apology, and should delete this entire post. If you were the "honest John" you paint yourself to be, you'd call him and apologize.

Tony

I answered your email Tony/vette... But like I said, I don't go postal on my site nor anyone else, but I don't like it when someone overreacts and does not give me the benefit of the doubt it's not cool. He could have looked and easily seen that I had not been online since the prior Saturday or Friday, or maybe posted in here.

I have to say, you have a different perspective than most people I have encountered. I would consider it pretty hasty to post on an open forum, that you sent him a damaged or modifed part. I, and Keith as well, would keep it a private matter until ALL other resources had been exhuasted.

It's a pretty big deal to attack someone with the whole world (or at least the entire forum) watching.

How long should he have waited before it would have been OK with you for him to try to do something to get a reaction from you? How could he have known what you were up to?

Tony/vette,

See how you feel when you get a lame Paypal complaint notice four days after you agreed to take the part back. You end up thinking that's a lame action once I have agreed to take the part back. I treated it like a Ebay complaint (of which I have none) but it's all to easy to jump on one of those things and file a complaint.

I don't see how PSJ has attacked anyone. I don't know what exactly happened, but he agreed to take the part back. Done deal.

I would have to say calling him lame, gay, etc. is a personal attack. At least IMHO.

I'm sure someday I will meet KH and we will either get along or I will clonk him over the head with the R/T tq arm (which won't break).

Sure it was a string of things happening, but I am entitled to vent about his complaint to Paypal. I could have said "KH was in my opinion uncool" but that's not how I felt.

That's all pretty much accurate.

Worst case we will cut a check on Monday unless Ken wants to instead buy some merchandise from over there... Email Tom at hotrodizz@aol.com if you want to do that.
