yea, id get some bearings in that thing too lol. also instead of LS7 lifters, get the LS7 version from the Cadillac race car, they are a bit different, lightweight internals, proven to 7k rpm+.

sorry i never ment to judge your character but if he couldnt see that damage he must have been blind or figured you were. seeing as how it looks like he is gonna refund you the money i guess its the latter

yeah at the beginning of this thread and saw the user name, i was like whoaaa what the ****. that doesnt sound like santana at all, and i know hes not stupid enough to **** someone over on here as he goes to all the meets, and buys and sells parts to A LOT of people on here. doing that would def make him lose all credibility on the forum and at car functions.
glad it all worked out.

I hope he refunds your money. I am not sure if Santana is aware of it, but if he is the original purchaser of that cam he may be able to get some money back from LG or Comp as that is definitely a manufacturing issue. Futral F13's had similar problems a while back. That shouldn't be your problem and he should refund your money, but once he does and he gets the cam back it shouldn't be his problem either. Fortunately for him, he swapped it out before it had a chance to do any damage to his car. Fortunately for you, it was never installed in your car.
Good luck on the refund, that cam is basically a paper weight.

I hope this gets resolved.
I am not sure if Santana is aware of it, but if he is the original purchaser of that cam he may be able to get some money back from LG or Comp as that definitely looks like a manufacturing issue. If you do a search on the Futral F13's I think you will see similar lobes when they went through a bad batch a cams a couple of years ago. That shouldn't be your problem and he should refund your money, but once he does and he gets the cam back it shouldn't be his problem either if he bought it new. Fortunately for him, he swapped it out before it had a chance to do any serious damage to his car. Fortunately for you, it was never installed in your car.
Good luck on the refund, that cam is basically a paper weight in my opinion and this should be taken up with the manufacturer.

That is an unbelievable statement. That is very clearly a wear issue and possibly bad cam right from the start. There is no way in hell that is shipping damage and you know it.
IMO, someone who is technically inclined could not have overlooked that. Your response is shameful.
You are very clearly a seller to be avoided.
**EDIT** Has this been resolved? If so, I will retract the last statement.
