Firechicken,

If you can find someone who has a spare TB or just the blade, you can fix your idle problem. That extra hole, along with the other much larger drilled hole, shouldn't be there. You can replace the blade very easily, I believe its a T-25 star bit on those two little bolts, flip the shaft open, and the blade will slide right out.

If you still don't feel like using that TB, I will port another one for you at no charge (you just cover shipping both ways) to help you with your troubles. I hate seeing people get screwed over something so simple as a friggin ported TB.

PM me if interested. Take care.

If you read the previous post I made, I'm giving him a full refund. So the only person getting screwed here is me, thanks for reading the thread in its entirety

If anyone wants this POS let me know, I may just give the damn thing away since it's caused me this headache.

I have a problem with the statement epoxy should never be used.LOL I have had ported TB's with it in them and NEVER had an issue. The TB worked great on the car it came off of. That little bit of epoxy is cosmetic only and will not effect the performance of the TB. The hole can be tuned for on the idle issue.

Way to dig up a resolved thread.

Maybe the epoxy is cosmetic, but a TB with a hole all the way through the side that has been filled in with epoxy is NOT in great condition as advertised. And if you buy a TB that is advertised in great condition you shouldn't have to tune for modifications that have been done to it, like the throttle blade hole.

Yeah I realized I dug one up after the fact. Oops. I just read that EPOXY should NEVER be used. That is a false statement.

No if it has a hole through the casting it wasn't properly ported. The holes in the blade isn't needed either, and if did have them it should have been stated as such.
