A few months ago, I ordered some stereo removal keys for my girlfriend's 2003 VW Golf (it's a specialty tool to remove the head unit) from ebay user autoware302. This seller specializes in aftermarket wiring harnesses, installation kits, and the like. In fact, he sells aux inputs that plug into the CD changer port on our OEM headunits. I paid via Paypal as soon as I won the auction. After six weeks and several emails I got no response and no tools. At that point I filed a dispute with Paypal to get my money back—and won!
A short time after that, I logged into ebay to look for a TPI base (Edelbrock or TPIS) for my old thirdgen and I found that autoware302 had left negative feedback for me! He said:
Outright Lie! After a few emails to ebay, I found that they were willing to do nothing to help me. Fantastic. I responded to my negative feedback, but I still have a strike on my otherwise perfect record. People like this should be euthanized.
Buyer beware—stay away from autoware302.
