You knew from the get go that the wheels would be drop shipped right from AFS. AFS has decided to screw me and refuses to ship a couple sets that they already have money for. I got your MO yesterday and PM'd you last night telling you that AFS is screwing me so I'd return your MO to you. I took it into the post office this morning and had them return it to sender.

I'm sorry that you are in a bind, but common sense says don't ditch your old wheels till the new ones arrive.

This was out of my control. I've talked to AFS several times and they don't give a crap.

There are, currently, two other customers that are also in this mess thanks to AFS. Your MO will be arriving back to you shortly as I took it into the post office this morning.

I've sold plenty of these wheels with no problems to satisfied people. Just do a search for my username in this forum.

Do you think I wanted this to happen? As I said, I've sold a few sets of these with no problems to people on this board. I would've loved to get some wheels out to you and make a couple bucks, but AFS is screwing us. I'm not doing the screwing!

There was ZERO need to post this thread as the situation has been explained to you and your money is on the way back to ya. It's not my fault you sold your wheels prematurely. I'm sorry that this has happened, but it's a problem w/AFS, not me!! Next time please plan ahead and don't sell your wheels till the new ones arrive.


There was no scamming as I have sold a few sets of the wheels already and the people got their wheels no problems at all.
This guy is just pissed cuz he was an idiot and sold his old wheels before he got new ones. That's on you buddy not me!

I've got plenty of satisfied customers that I've sold Z06 wheels to among other parts.

It's called free enterprise.
I won ebay auctions and then got the money from board members then sent the money to AFS. they then shipped the wheels. Plenty of people have bought sets off me and were pleased. Afs is just pissed off cuz I made more money selling their wheels than they did. They could easily set reserves on their auctions if they feel they are not making enough off them.

I did nothing wrong.

 

Least to say if he's getting the wheels that cheap. You can too, dont be lazy, use ebay to win your own bids. Otherwise face the consequences of the so called free enterprise. Though I dont appreciate LS1 members hawking each other like this. After all this is a community right? One of the reasons I never trust ebay to sell or buy items. Half the time or more there is downside to the deal. From my experiences, If you want cheap prices be prepared to get a cheap product. All in all there is no free lunches here or anywhere online. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!

 

Just to clarify, people did get exactly what I advertised. Brand new wheels from AFS

Also, I am not "hawking" anyone. You all have access to ebay.

I agree. This isn't a scam. If the guy is to lazy to look on ebay it his own fault. The only reason you are mad is b/c you sold your wheels whos fault was that. It isn't right that you didn't get your wheels but $hit happens.

This will be all I will say on this matter and good luck to you purchasing stuff and trusting others to be honest about what they have.

 

All I have to say about this whole thing is that NewZ is a jackass. You wont have to worry about me buying from, or selling you, anything, ever.

 

A guy here in Nebraska was doing the same thing. The last I heard about him, the state patrol had a warrant for his arrest. He didnt return the money.
This situation is different in that respect. But selling something to someone before you even have it in your possesion is a bit on the gray side of ethical.
What if you purchased the wheels, and the original seller skated off with your dough? You would have to use your own money to pay back your customer. You take all the risks, and seeing how much fraud is on the internet in the parts game, that risk is very BIG.

 

FreakZ, you didn't commit any fraud or scam, but what you are doing is somewhat shady and unethical. Also, buy selling multiple sets of new wheels on this site, you are directly competing with several of our paying wheel-selling sponsors. For this reason, LS1TECH will no longer allow you to sell your new wheels here on our forum.

It would be different if these were a single set that you had and didn't use, but you are selling several sets. That is against our policy here.

Please do not post any more wheels for sale, especially if you do not have them in your posession. I questioned you on your eBay purchases in a previous thread, and you denied the accusation. Now you have just admitted it. Doesn't show alot of reason for me to trust you now.

I do it all the time when i order something from a shop or auto store. If they cant get it in i get my money back; just like in this case.
