Ya know what buddy....You put me in a hell of a position!

FREAKZ28 is selling wheels he doesn't have! I found out too late!
I OVERNIGHT him a MO for the wheels as he asks.Then the next day he tells me he can't get the wheels anymore!Says he sent the MO back to me!
Well that just great except for the fact that I SOLD my wheels the same DAMN day....and now have ZERO wheels to put on my car which is sitting on blocks in my ****ING garage!!!!Oh and a set of tires at the dealer to mount on those MUth***n wheels FREAKZ28 really doesn't have!!!!

Don't I feel like a dip****!!!!

shorgasm, why on earth would you sell your wheels before getting new ones underneath it? Thats one of my biggest fears about selling wheels.

 

Well had I known he actually never ownd these sets of wheels then I would not have bought them from him.He was selling them as if they where his.He actually has been buying them off Ebay and reselling them thru a few bigger boards at a mark-up without disclosing they aren't his.

Now I do appreciatte his being honest immediatly about what happened with AFS.I think it is a absolute BS way to sell things.

Someone else picked up onto this scam and the post got locked for being in the wrong place. I did some research on this through AFS and he was having them shipped from AFS. This was a BS scam.. Talk to AFS and see if they can help you out, if you explain the sittuation they should help you. They are weel aware of FREAK Z28.. Good Luck

 

That sucks. I remember a post where Nine Ball questioned him about the wheels he was selling. Hope you get your money back. I had some screwy dealings with him trying to sell him some interior pieces I had. Now I'm glad I sold them to someone else.

I questioned him about selling wheels that he purchased off of ebay, and he denied the statement. If you have some evidence that he is indeed selling wheels that he does not own (or has not won a bid for yet), please provide it and I will ensure that he does not post any more ads on this site.

Actually, that's called selling short. A friend of mine made a career out of doing this at livestock trade lot. You sell someone the cow you don't own for $1000, because you THINK you can get the cow for $850. You take their $1000 go buy the cow for $850, deliver and put $150 in your pocket. Now if the cows owner insists on $1050 my friend was screwed because he had to deliver the cow and it cost him $50 out of his own pocket. This is also done with stocks etc.

The catch is FreakZ28 made an agreement to deliver wheels to your for the given price. The emails etc are the agreement. Make him cover his selling short at his expense and buy the wheels he promised, or nail his *** for fraud.

 

Uh...........If I'm not mistaken, this "transaction" will fall under the internet fraudulent act (not sure of the law name) which is similiar to a fraudulent (?) act in snail mail.
Which in turn is a federal offense which is a felony.
I would be contacting the postmaster general or at least inquire who you might be able to contact or point you in the right direction.
I would be curious to hear his side of the story though.

Tony, i was in PA for a wedding, wanted to stop by NJ were he lives and check out a set (if all was good to pick up) I couldnt because they arent there, they get shipped from AFS and that's how he works his scam. That's when i raised the flag and stopped my conversation's with him. I talked with AFS and they gave me the real deal. I am sure shorgasm has found out the hardway.

 

How can I get a hold of AFS. I need a pair of silver 10 spokes.

I don't think FreakZ28 could be nailed for online fraud if he returned the money. It would only be a fraud if he kept the money or sent you incorrect parts.

But, if he is indeed selling crap off of ebay auctions that he doesn't own, we will put an end to ALL of his ad posts just because of character concerns.

when you get you money back you can always buy some z06 wheels off ebay for about the same price he was asking just use afs as your search word.

 

I don't see a problem with what he is doing IF he sells to you for the price agreed.
