This has gotten off topic real fast. Shall we stick to the original point?

During the greinder03/Form>Function bashing the other night, Craig sent me an email. Coincidence that they both were online at the same time?

Anyway, here is what he had to say:
i am not associated to that kid on ls1tech.

zach, please understand that i am not in any intentions trying to rip you off. please understand that. i am not trying to just dissappear with your money and you never hear from me again. that is not what i am trying to do. i was selling these motors for a buddy who worked at a local shop, and he would give me $100/motor i sold.

i have sold over 5 ls1/ls2's, some transmissions, seats, etc... all with no problem. there was only one motor that didnt come as described, and is being refunded as well as keeping the motor. i thought i could trust him. well now he took me for 10000 that i am in turn paying you guys back.

you filed a claim with your credit card, i dont understand what is taking so long. I want you to get your money back, then i am in turn in debt to paypal.

I was supposed to get "some" of my refund this week. I haven't seen it yet. I called and left a message. I'm waiting for a response...

I'm sure Mr. alocker is working on something. He actually bought the original LT1 out of my car 2 years ago. Funny how things work out. We shared the same motor, and now we've been screwed by the same guy. I think it was fate.... Haha!

Called Craig again today. No answer. I've been pretty patient and understanding. I'm starting to lose my cool a little.

So, if PayPal cleared out his account then why has no one been reimbursed from PayPal? Sounds like another Craig Payne line of BS.

And 401k for someone who goes to school and works 2 jobs not to mention this side thing he has going on with the guy who scammed him out of $10k. Hmmmm. Where does it end with this guy?

Yeah, there's definitely a plethora of inconsistencies here. Did anybody notice that at first it was his shop/business where he was getting the motors. And now it's through his friend who was giving him $100 per motor? Maybe it's just me....but all this drama doesnt seem worth a few hundred bucks in my pocket to me.

I'm sure he's probably reading up on this thread. That's fine with me.

A few hundred bucks, Craig has made over $10k by scamming us. There is no one else giving him the shaft. I do think that he has a couple butt buddies, MasterMindMotorsports and that greinder03, unless they are all the same person that is.

Told me that he cashed in his 401K (about $3600 worth). They direct deposited it and Paypal garnished his checking account. He said he tried to pay his rent and his cell phone bill, and he overdrew his account. He said he is selling his car(s) and as soon as he gets some cash, he will send me a certified MO or a cashiers check for my "settlement".

I just fired the LS2 that I received from Greinder 03 and it runs, but I would still like to do a compression check BC after taping the intake ports and having the motor upside down on an engine stand I noticed as I peeled off the tape there was a damn nut stuck to the back side, so thats nice that I found that in my cylinder head.

Anyone find anything more, I could literally get someone a plane ticket for 30-40 bucks round trip if they want to go investigate.. lol
