Has anything been worked up with that "thing" you were working on? LMK. I may need another angle. Being patient doesn't seem to be working.
I had a similar situation. He also said it was from his moms crashed truck. I was all ready to drive 6 hours to meet his 20 yr employee who sweeps his "shop" at a Mcdonalds north of Detroit because he was tied up with the Dream Cruise. The night before I left I packed my stuff up and thought about bringing my .45 along just in case. It was at that point I called it off. Not worth it as everything pointed to a shady transaction. Unfortunately all of these motors look like warranty cores. There is some very sketchy **** going on north of Detroit.

I have just received some REALLY disheartening news. A little birdy just told me that Mr. Payne is still scamming on this board. He apparently is using another name to sell. I was also just told that Mr. Payne (the same one that is having money problems and can't pay everyone back) JUST BOUGHT A MOTHER ******* CADILLAC!

So....I just called my credit card company. I told them the long drawn out story and what happened. I told them what I received, what condition it was received in, and we settled on the fact that I got half of what I originally paid for. They refunded my credit card, and are now in the process of contacting Mr. Payne.
IF YOU PAID WITH A CREDIT CARD, CALL THEM AND TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED! THEY WILL BE ABLE TO REFUND YOU THE MONEY AND GO AFTER CRAIG FOR THE BALANCE.

He is using 2 Paypal accounts. The one almost everyone used was CraigPayneWS6@gmail.com . That one obviously doesn't work anymore because he has had so many claims on it. He is now using one of his "friends" accounts. It is vinchenzo89@yahoo.com . Lets hope that him screwing up someone else Paypal will help in nailing his ***.

i have the week of thanksgiving off. from 11/22/2008 thru 11/30/2008. if anyone wants to compile addresses and info of his employment and a round trip plane ride, i woul GLADLY go check this all out. and caddilac burn like all the rest of the vehicles...
J, no one responded with the info, so I left it alone. You just did the best thing you could have done with the CC company. I hope you got all of your money back. With all the claims against him, I doubt he will be able to reverse a single chargeback. Let Paypal take him to court.
Im surprised he still has not learned his lesson. If for some reason I didnt get my cash back, I would have hunted him down for sure.
