Sorry for the long post but here goes. I bought a 6.0 block that was suppose to be from the machine shop, never ran and bored to 4.030 on June 7. After picking up the block and taking it to my engine builder he looks over it and points out the scratches in 2 of the cylinder walls. He says this motor has been ran and something must have went wrong to put scratches in it.

After I found this out and contacted FASH00 he asked what could be done about this situation. He said he would contact who he had bought the block from and get back to me. Well he had bought the block over a year ago from another member and now this proves that the block was NOT "freshly machined" as you had described.

I offered to return the block ( a two hour drive when gas was almost $4 a gallon here in Richmond, VA) for a refund and he said he did not have the money now but he would set some aside each week until he did. While waiting on this one of my friends offered to buy it for 275 and he would bore it even more (something I did not want to do), so I checked with FASH to see if this was okay and we agreed that he would refund me $125 and we would be done with this dispute.

Well here it is September 16, and still no $125...3 months later????
In his pm's he has said things keep coming up not allowing for him to send me money, all I would like is my $125.....

Negative feedback left. I tried being fair but after him recieving feedback for buying some wheels, I could not continue to hold out. He claims his brother bought them but at this point I have heard plenty of reasons why not to pay me back including....

its funny that he was also trying to purchase a set of high dollar coilovers on another board.
also user FROST had the same situation on a long block he bought from this guy. hope everything works out ok

also file criminal charges on him.

the bad thing is u know longer have the block which was the evidence but if u still have the pms where he agrees 2 refund u 125$ then u can use that and last thing is why the hell did u give him so much time

 

Did not use paypal.
How do I file charges....still have all his pm's and the block is at my friends house so I can still show that what I got was not what he described.
I kept giving him time bc he kept having excuses and I wanted a refund.
