Default Is this worth it?

Is it worth it to spend the money and get a tune for a stock LS1 Camaro with and intake and LT's, ORY and catback? I am about to put wrapped SS LT's on my car and im wondering if it would be worth it to have the car dyno tuned with a Dynojet?

Unless you're getting some kind of hookup, no. Get a mail order tune until you get some bigger mods. I see in your SIG you have an aftermarket MAF, if you do get it dyno tuned, should be fun for the tuner..

What are your future plans for mods? Cam and headwork down the road? If you arn't going to be modding for a while, I would, but if you are planning on doing H/C/I within a year or two, I would wait.

since yours is an 02 with the ls6 i would wait until you had full bolt ons and then find a local tuner that has a cam install + tune package, then you would be set.

I wouldn't wrap the headers.... holds in moisture and makes them rust.

Get a tune to get the most out of it if no more mods are in the near future. Most tuners then give you a discount when you add more mods and need to get the tune changed.

Well i bought stainless headers and my car is garaged here in Cali so there isnt much moisture. But I dont plan on doing much more modding in the near future.
