Default LT How To

I know I have seen one before. Is there a really good guide as to what to expect when you do a LT install on a 98-02 F-body. I am going to be doing some soon and was looking for some kind of guide.

Its not too hard of a job. Start at the back and unbolt the catback and slide it off the the Y pipe then just let the catback hang on the axle. Then unbolt the Y pipe from the cats. After that take the cats off the manifolds, You will probly snap the studs getting the cats off.Once thats done pop the hood and remove the coils this will give you more room to get at the manifold bolts. Remove the manifolds and then change the spark plugs... It will be a easy plug change with the manifolds out. Then put the headers in from the bottom and have a buddy hold them up to put in the bolts. I use HI TEMP anti seize on the spark plug threads and on the header bolts too. After the headers are in put in your new Y pipe and the o2 sensors in then slide the catback into place. put the coils and plug wires on and your good to go.

Is there any other stuff I should get?

I will probably do the motor mounts and the plugs with TR55. I know for some I need 02 extensions but what else should i remember?

Spark plug wires. Also if your going with a off road y pipe you can ditch the air pump.

this is teke184 a fellow member on here, i used his guide!
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/243722/11

dont expect this to be a 2-4hr job... with me and my brother doin it, it took us 7hrs. We both have very good experience with working on cars as well so dont expect us to be noobs. I also did a sparkplug/wire change and removed all egr/air crap... its an easy process just very time consuming! good luck!
