Security alert problem?????

Ok so this morning i try to turn on my car but the car would not start. It is just flashing the lights and flashing the security light on my dash. I think it might be an alarm realted issue but how do i fix... need help quick thanks..
I have already tried dissconnecting the battery but its still not working...

I think thats a VATS problem. Could be many things causing it. Worn or dirty resistor in the key, broken wire in the column, problem with the ignition switch.

More than likely it's a worn key...or you could get my luck and have a broke wire on the ignition cylinder.

well when i disconnected the battery i left the car unlocked and just left it alone for awhile... i went back and just open the door without inputting the key and the alarm went off a couple of seconds later
