Default SLP Flowpac

im thinking about getting the flowpac from slp for my car. i was wondering if it is worth the money or if you can even tell a difference. would i be better off to just get a lid and smooth bellow? any advice would be great. thanks

Honestly, I am more fond of the FTRA pack. It comes with a bigger lid than the SLP one (slp is overrated anyway), and I can certainly tell a difference once I hit 100mph or so from the cold/ram air duct. In all honesty... you won't really feel much of a difference in any mods until you add 50ish HP, but you will certainly notice a speed/time difference at the track from whichever route you decide to go.

Just get any type of Lid and save your money for something else like headers etc.

It's a deal to get it all together and that's what I bought.. My lid rubs the hood which pisses me off, but what are you going to do.. it seems to be a hit or miss issue.. i just didn't get lucky and miss it..

slp flowpack is overpriced for parts that don't make a difference.

all you need is a lid and a SSRA...

I have the SLP flow pac. I noticed a slight difference. It does rub the hood of my car but I'm over all happy with it.

My car came with it installed. Rubs the hood and pops of one clip every time I rew the engine.

If my car did not come with it, I would get a smooth bellow(it just looks better, IMO) and a Lid.

I picked up all the components separate, I got the lid new, the bellows, and cold air used I ran 14.0 stock and then i ran 13.7 with the flow-pac the next week so I would say that it was well worth the money.

Read the thread: NEWBIE MOD MISTAKES !!! There is a lot of great info on it and it will keep you from buying crap that you don't need. Put that into search and read all 900 pages.

I'd skip the Flopac. Money is probably better spent elsewhere. My car came with an SLP lid which fit well, otherwise I would probably have just bought a used lid from here or Ebay.
