there's got to be an adjustment.

maybe you followed the wrong cable.

i found mine with the same gap after my cam install. i always wondered how much of a difference it made on the dyno...since i only got 382rwhp and was expecteding 390s.

i also found the cable adjustment had slipped over the years (since the cam install discovery)...so i readjusted it, and ziptied the retainer clip on...to help maintain the adjustment.

definatly do the "bump stop mod" to get that blade perpendicular to air flow.

someone on a local forum suggested maybe bending the pedal a lil to allow for more travel....its not off that much...what yall think???

i'm not even sure that will work.

the adjustment connector is there for a reason.

i'm sure the issue isn't because your gas pedal got bent...so why would bending the other way solve it?

don't band-aid the problem...FIX it

imma take a vid of it to show u that there isnt an adjustment...the other cable thats hooked to the throttle has an adjuster but its tightened all the way....check the thread later today....
