Used Heads? What do I look for before I buy some used heads. I am planning on buying some heads and am skeptical if I should get them. Heads have 10,000 miles on them and nitrous has been used. Also have been shaved to boost compression.

Whenever you buy used parts such as heads, there is always a possibility of the item being damaged somehow. Rather the owner knows it or not. You said that the heads have been milled for higher compression, and there is nothing wrong with that, as long as you have enough piston-to-valve clearance. And be sure that you want that added compression. The decision is ultimately yours on whether to buy them or not. Good luck with your choice.
