Question ac compressor

Can anyone tell me how to disconnect an ac compressor on a 98 z28? It's leaking dye & I don't need it for winter, but defroster kicks it on. Thanks

Unplug the electrical connector at the compressor.

if i where you i would just remove the whole thing. it will make allot more room in the engine bay and it would be easier to work on the car. especially doing spark plugs.
