Hey guys I know that I am new at this but I am fearles(plus I like to read all your Forums). For short, What I did, at first, was to port out the throtle body. Then I drill a hole through the IAC motor chamber. Now the gases go straigh in instead of moving over the bridge that is in the middle of the two ports in the throttle body intakes. Of course I did polished the hole insides if it. Also I took the MAF sensor and Hacked away the two bridges in the belows. I knew that due to this my readings in my autometer AIR/FUEL gauge were going to be in the Leane side of the house. So I put it all back together and went for a spin. The Beast increased 10 mph from 2nd to 3rd from previous runs and I think that is significant increse in HP, I do not have a Dyno bu the next time I'm in Phoenix I will let you guys know what the drilling did for my Z28. Yes when a drove it hard the vehicle is pinging between 5000 and 6000 rpm. But I just got it fixed. All I had to do was to fool the MAF to think that more woltage was necessary. So I went out and bought me a soldering tool 15-30 watts, a 1K OHM 1/2 watt resistor and welded it to the two long single legs inside the sensor(not to bad of a job for a beginner)and the put it together back in the car. To my surprize the Lean/Rich gauge at at first and before the resistor instalation was going off the scale in the lean area now is stoich at idle when I fisrt start the car and then through out the spectrum from lean to rich without any problems,,, and ohh yeah the Spark Plug Pinging/Knocking/Detonations are completely gone. This Z28 has gatten my attention and quick.

Hey guys I think this is a Great Web Site for LS1 enthusiast, you people are owesome...Look dude yes I went to the install university I do not deny it. After all in America everyone is entittle to a good education. So I hacked away at my MAF, but I tell you I did not cutted away the plastic bridge inside the MAF, No SIR, I left that one alone, the belwos, well that is a different story. The two bridges inside are gone and the belwos are polished as a BaBy's @$$. But you Know porting the bridge in the throttle body that is mine alone. When I did it I did not expect to improve in performance I though my engine may explode or something. I really do not know or understand all the benefits if any of what I did. Next week I will be speaking to my cousin(GM Engineer)then I let you know what he says about my LoCoLoCo idea.

No guys you got it all wrong, I'm glad we got people of your CALIBER here in this Forum. What I meant to say was drilling down from the base of the AIC motor chamber to the next chamber was my Idea. At least I do not know if anyone else has donne it before. The Bellows well I meant the MAF "ends" that were cutted and polished. The porting of the throttle body well in a sense I was the first person to do my own, so I think it was great thanks to all the quantity of information gather here in your postings within your Forums. Thanks

But what is the point/gain of drilling from the IAC chamber to the next one?
Air goes into both chambers equally so I don't see the gains from drilling that hole?

So Unit.....when are ya gonna give that thing some serious power? You already have all the **** an LS1 needs in your stock engine (one that will stay together under boost). I've been watching ever since you sold your camaro, but I don't see and mods in your sig.
