Default O2 sensor question

I have LT headers and I'm going to be getting a custom Y done, but I'm gonna have to drive 40 mins away. Will this mess up my O2 sensors or anything else? I'm going to tie up the I-pipe so it doesn't hang low.

felt good didnt it once you bolt up the y tho it tames it a good bit, even with a cutout its not half as loud , it still sounds like a beast with the cutout, but I was hoping it would be louder LOL

You will be fine, car just might run a little rich, nothing to worry about, just bring some ear plugs esp if you have a cam.

I've wondered this before... Could you unplug the 02 sensors, and run in open loop to the exhaust place so the cold air doesn't hurt the 02's? I've heard of 02 sensors getting damaged from the cold air, not sure exactly how or why, but I'm thinking it'd be ok to just unplug em and carry them inside the car?...

Thoughts anyone?

It will be fine..Oh if you buy extended o2s you can get the bosch 13111. I used them they work good. Mine was homemade extensions and those didnt last.

Yeah We cranked my car with open headers one time...with that ms4 cam....It was insane.

that wont hurt your sensors. it would be worse to stay in open loop.
