A4 shifter yes, i have an automatic....is there any way i can change the hideous shift **** out. like a slap shift or something cool? i will eventaully have a stall, but never drove a car with one...will i be manually shifting or just drop her in 3, break and stomp on it?

It's good to keep it in 1 when doing the Burnout too..
As far as the ***** go, I've seen people shorten theirs and it actually looked pretty good.

when you drop them in a lower gear ie first or second it will boost the line pressure that why it could prolong the life of the tranny but as far a racing let the pcm do it that what it was designed to do i would also like to see an aftermarket shifter that is a simple bolt in replacement for a 4l60 for the racecar look that retains the factory btsi system come on hurst and b&m lets work on that
