hey guys i know this isnt an ls1 motor but i have a 2001 s-10 with a 4.3 in it and i drove it to work and back a couple days ago and when i went to start it the next day it wouldnt turn over i heard the fuel pump ingage and then i sprayed starting fluid in to the air box while my brother tried to turn it over and nothing it wouldnt turn over now that tells me theres an ignition problem but i dont know where to start any ideas, any would be apperiated thanks

 

Scan it for codes.

This is assuming you're using the wrong terminology. You say it won't turn over. That typically means when you turn the key nothing moves at all.

Do you mean it won't start? This means the engine DOES turn over, but won't fire or run.
Which is it?

 

i mean it wont start i had it scanned a couple of months ago and an they said it was an o2 sensor going bad but i dont think that it wouldnt make the truck not start, but ill go and get a scanner
