hi, ive got a 2002 low mileage 5.3 that i picked up dirt cheap. im going to put it in a tube chassis rockcrawler i am building but would like to build it up a little. id like to get about 350hp out of it and was wondering whats the best way to do this. i was thinking a cam, having the heads ported and getting it reflashed. what do you think this would bring me. any recomendations are greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

yeah it wont be hard to make 350 in that, if you have full bolt ons im sure you could make 350, cam only with bolt ons you would be close to 400

headers, full exhaust, ported & polished tb, air intake?

idk how your setting it up in the truck and what manifold you are running and stuff.

cam and headers shoud get you there with no porblems.

with some head work and free flowing exhaust and a retune you should be at 350 flywheel hp. Cam would be needed to get that or more to the wheels.
