Newbie section for a reason
Newbie section for a reason Dumb question but it's been kind of bugging me and I figure I will never know unless I ask....you know where it says rotation and then an arrow on your tire? What does that mean exactly? I figure it has to do with something for rotating your tire but I don't see why it would.

They are called a directional tire and as posted can only be rotated front to back on the same side. You would have to remount tires to rims to get them on the other side.

Yup, it really helps with wet traction. You can see that if it was mounted the wrong way, the rain would channel from the outside to the middle, making hydroplaning really easy, lol.
Also I think it helps fine tune harmonizing the tire. Like on good, quiet tires, the tread blocks on the shoulders are different sizes to somehow help cancel the tire's natural sound as it spins against the pavement. Not sure exactly how it works or how they figure it out, but it's pretty cool.
