my tranny dip stick is stuck and i cant pull it out? has this happened to anybody? how do i get it out?

did you pull the handle up and then pull? if it really is stuck then just keep wiggling it and jerking the **** out of it. it will eventually pull out

yea i undid that little lock and pulled as hard as i could and it would not come out im not a small guy haha

Idk call me mr. Obvious but... Try channel locks and twisting motion???

go to autozone and buy a can of MAN i heard it works really well for stuff like this

Mine does the same thing every time. I can check it an hour later and it feels like it's been welded on there. Just pull and wiggle in a circular motion, It will come off. I even used some tranny fluid and tried to lube it but it still gets stuck on there.

Mine has done the same think also and i am not a small guy either.I thought i was going to pull the motor and tranny out w/ the dip stick.You have to pull and wiggle it at the same time.

Same thing here. I am right handed so I just grab it and twist counter clockwise while I pull and it will eventually come free. It can be a biotch though

Funny that I see this thread. I was just helping my friend take this off yesterday. I kept on yankin and twistin so hard my friend was getting worried id break it. Eventually it just popped off.
