ls1 intake qustion quick question for ya ls1 guys. I'm working on a intake swap for a ls4 motor and testing everything out on a ls1 intake first. Is there a way to remove the plastic fitting for the map sensor/brake vacuum line? I need to remove it for clearance reasons but not being easy, I'm tempted to just cut it out since i don't need it but removal by normal means is preferred.

Are you talking about the one that plugs into the back of the intake manifold and has the hole for the map and the t's for the vacuum lines? If so that just pops out. If you are going to disgard it I really need one not broken.
