have a question??

ok here it goes..
98 camaro (05 lq9) 6.0 motor
motor has ls6 heads,torqer v2 cam, headers,lid, stock gears (323s) ls6 intake and a2500 stall...untunned

02 camaro (bolt on)
headers, lid , tune,2500 stall,

why would a 02 camaro pull on the 98??? is it that just missmatched the mods...??? it was only a 50-80 roll....and then stopped...now it wasnt a bad pull ..but id think the 6.0 wouldve raped the 02...just wondering

If the car is untuned thats probly your problem. I went from a bolton 224 -cam tune, to lower compression heads, differant cam, 60lbs injectors with a blower and a CAVALIER would have smoked my ***. The second pull on the dyno you could just hear the car making more power and more each run they did. Go get it tuned you'll be suprised how much power your probably leaving on the table.

alright..ill let him know about that lol....u think its only the tune..i told him to get better gears while hes at it ...

Gears would help too but a car that moded needs to be tuned.

i had told him bigger gears since that cam was pretty much peak power at high rpms

when i put in my ms4 and stall it ran with a tune. granted it got a tune the very next day as soon as they opened, but was able to run and drive an hour to the shop. but to the op its al in the tune.

Why would you ever do all that work and race the car untunned???? I've done header installs and had it jump up to 17:1...That was a very very bad idea and he is lucky he didnt break anything.

haha..we finished the car that same day..took it for a very very long drive..and well i guess he couldnt take it..and wanted to race..but yes..a tune in process
