Yup, i wouldn't buy new 16" wheels. IMO they don't look right on Camaros. I say sell your new 16" tires and buy some 17"+ wheels/tires. I bet if you offered to trade in what you have to a local Discount Tire (or the equivalent) they'll help you get a deal on new wheels/tires. Just know that they'll usually match whatever price you find on the internet and can get any wheel you find, so search a lot, find the cheapest price, and take it up.
Also, check out these: http://www.oeconcepts.com/2009/wheels.html (I would recommend www.Tomzwheels.com, but I'm not sure if he's still in business at the moment, but for sure he sold wheels from this site).
Look at some Fbody picture threads and find the wheels you like. If you settle for decent looking 16"s but you really wanted 17" wheels then you'll hate your car every time you walk up to it, lol. I've seen it happen a few times.
If you're really in a bind right now, I suggest looking for the stockers. Make a "Want To Buy" thread. They're pretty cheap. I've seen Snowflakes go for $40 for a pair, lol.

i had a problem with a couple of my rims needing air every 2-3 days because of poor sealing with the outer lip of the rims due too corrosion on the inner edges. I had them taken off, inner edges cleaned up and the air loss issue is solved. Even in dead of winter, no air pressure loss. Unless you are wanting to get spanking new wheels, it may be a very cheap alternative.

Mine leaked bad too. When I got new tires they cleaned the sealing surface, and I think they added a sealant. They've been through 2 winters and haven't been a problem yet.
