Cam Question

I was wondering if anyone could help me out, i am looking to put a hpe megadeath cam kit in my ls1 camaro and i was wondering how well of a cam it is and if anyone had any better idea's for me.

it's a 2002 ss with intake,longtubes,full exhaust,locker and 4,10 gears

You will want to match a stall with that cam.

Sorry I edited my post when you said it was a auto. If you still have a stock coverter you will need to change it for a higher stall.

Sound good, when you talk to hpe see if thats a high enough stall and you'll be good to go.

the megadeath is huge. be prepared to lose a lot of bottom end.

This is why I asked if it was a daily driver. That cam will need some rpm's before it comes on.

Check out this cam, comes on quick and will pull hard to the red line, you can also get this in a package with push rods valve springs and gaskets.
