Default no rear o2s, adding cats, retune???

I have the front o2s, but the rear o2s are deleted, and my car was all tuned for its current setup with pacesetter longtubes, tsp true duals with x pipe and dynomax bullet mufflers dumped. This was all done before i bought the car.

Im going to be adding a pair of magnaflow hi flow cats part # 59959 after the front o2s but before the x-pipe as i heard the closer they are to the headers the better/more efficient they will run.

Is it correct to assume I dont need to re-tune the car just for simply adding a pair of cats because there are no rear 02s so the computer will not know that i added cats and therefore a/f mixture and all that stuff will not change, is this correct??

If there are no cats on there now, why should it make a difference to the tune now? The O2's only care what's coming to it, not what's after it.

With that said, you are slowing down the exhaust flow a bit but not enough to justify having to retune, if it makes a difference at all. Keep in mind though if your tune is too rich or too lean to begin with, those cats will be destroyed.

gutted cats cause un-even exhaust flow. some occasions, also cause interior resonance

ya plus i need it for the sound too, honestly all the pictures and crap on my walls shake and rattle. You cant even talk when your standing near the car. Pretty big cam, longetubes, trueduals with xpipe and race bullet mufflers dumped and facing the ground, lol very loud.

I love it but ill be getting alot of tickets i know it. And it REAKS of fuel, i love the smell, reminds me of when i used to race Formula cars, but its just wayyy too obvious and suspicous for where i live.

Now i heard that if your a/f ratio is too lean or rich that itll just destroy your cats in no time, so now i gotta find out if i gotta get it retuned, such a hassle, its already tuned for its current pre-cats setup.
