Default newb question about cam install

Ok so I'm starting to aquire parts to have my tuner do a cam swap. For the gaskets do I get a cam only gasket kit or a head/cam gasket kit?

Cam gasket kit is what you want. Should have a timing cover gasket, timing cover seal, crank pully bolt, and water pump gaskets.

Yes that's what's included in it. I think they have to take the heads off during install right? And I wasn't sure if you could reuse the head gaskets and what not

If they are replacing the lifters then yes the heads have to come off. If they are just doing a cam and valve springs then the heads stay on the motor. Also you never reuse head gaskets.

I know I'm buying ls7 lifters. So since I'm getting them I should get the head/cam gasket kit?

Yes they will lift the heads to change the lifters. The head bolts are torque to yield bolts and that is a one time use, same as the crank pully bolt. Also get new plastic lifter trays as well they are $5 each and you need 4 of them.
The head and cam kit should come with all the bolts and gaskets.
