Are Polly MM worth it?
Are poly motor mounts honestly that worth it? They look like such a hassle to put in. Reason why I'm asking is because im putting headers in and i hear about the whole Y-pipe banging against the floor if the poly mm's aren't in. Is this true? Or is it a hit or miss? Thanks

I put my exhaust in. Maybe a month later I pulled it out to put poly mounts in.
I wasn't a firm believer either, but having basically done the header install twice, I can now say it's best to just put the mounts in when you take the stock exhaust off and before you put the headers on.

I would definitely put them in while doing your header swap. You know how crappy the stock ones are just by the way the shifter moves around. I had bad y-pipe banging after LT install and poly mounts fixed it.

On my '99 Z28 I have Pacesetter LT's and ORY. The Pacesetter Y is notorious for banging... and mine lives up to the reputation. It vibrates against the floor nearly every time I let the clutch in from a stop (but not while driving down the road)
I tried the Mufflex clamp - no dice. Even after I adjusted it about 4 times.
I wish I had gone with poly mounts.
