Default "Preoiling"

I know about the accusump systems and will be getting one this coming fall. My question is, is there anyway to preoil are cars to avoid dry starts? My car is a summer/fall car(427ci LS2) and I'm getting a few things around and getting it back out on the street here soon. Its been sitting for about 6-7 months and I was wondering if there is anyway to preoil the engine before I start it for the 1st time. Once I get the accusump, problem solved. But for now anyway to proil??

I have always unplugged the coils and injectors and cranked it over a for a couple seconds or so, on recommendation of a GM tech and a few of the former sponsors.

Makes sense. I guess you are turning the engine over at a couple hundred RPM at most while cranking and getting the oil stirred up but there are no violent explosions going on. (Yeah I know it's not really an explosion in the combustion chamber but a fast controlled burn but you get the idea.)
