GTO's are slow... LT's, TD's, LS6 manifold, lid, tune, stall... you'll be dragging goats like they were civics

I had a stock 99 Z28 and i did a clear lid, Kooks 1 7/8" x 3" headers, Kooks y-pipe, and Borla stingers and i was at 323 rwhp. So I assume all you would need to do is lid, port & polish throttle body, LS6 intake manifold, long tube headers(if your looking for power go with Kooks, but if not, you can go with Hooker or pacesetter), x-pipe or y-pipe, some sort of muffler or axle back and a good tune. That should put you there or a little better.

Are you talking about from a dig or roll? Dig yea, but roll, assuming the GTO was stock of course you should beat him. I had a 06 GTO with intake and full exhust in an auto and I was beating full bolt on cammed 6 speed Z28/SS...plus my car wasnt tuned by a handheld tuner, not a custom tune.

Both. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on beating a cammed 6 speed SS (although I'm calling BS in my head) But that is by NO MEANS normal. I'll give $100 to any bolt-on GTO that can outrun me And I've got no cam...

ls1 or ls2 goat?
A bolt on ls2 GTO shouldn't have a problem.

Considering a stock ls2 gto is only a little bit faster then what a stock ls1 fbody is, I beg to differ. With headers and ory and all that fun stuff for boltons on a ls1 fbody, the fbody could beat a ls2 gto easily. So if a cammed fbody went up against a ls2 gto with boltons im pretty sure it would be killed considering a cammed fbody would most likely range from 370-400rwhp.

Either one. Find a full bolt-on LS2 Goat, bring it down here to Houston, and I'll show you.

lid, cat-back, underdrive crank pulley, LT and a stall. the stall would be the best investment for you car.

On an LS1 car the FIRST thing I would invest in is HP tuners. Then you can tune to every mod you do to the car.

I'm not arguing, just curious. Besides your suspension what would make you faster than a bolt on ls2 goat? Especially if both are modded equally.

Again, not starting a pissing match...I only like one GTO and it's Josh99ta's.

If you get a cam you will need a stall since you are an A4 and of course the supporting mods, exhaust, lid, headers, intake. Yes you will NEED a tune also. Since you only want 350rwhp you can get close with full exhaust, ported tb, lid, and intake.

Weight, driver mod, and a good tune. Honestly I think an equally modded LS2 M6 GTO would be a decent race from a roll with a good driver, and an equally modded auto may get me by a hair from a dig but it wouldn't last long.
