grinding noise

Default grinding noise

2000 z28, 130,000 miles good condition, but im getting this grinding noise from the rear end (only when i try to take off) from a standstill with any type of authority, goes right away though, i only hear it when i try to launch hard, is the rear end going

could also be your ypipe banging. my stock ypipe was banging on my floorboard. after i put my tds on, the noise went away, and it sounds like the way you were explaining it. only from a stop or slow roll, if you slam it, it makes the noise.

i dont think, had on lift last week getting new exhaust tips welded on, had guy check out exhaust system, it was pretty solid

Make sure no pipes are hitting. If your certain thats not the case check diff fluid.
