Default Little Confusion need Clearing... Lids and MAF sensor combo

Ordered an SLP lid, was told that i need to buy some kind of MAF sensor?

My car is almost bonestock atm and don't plan on doing heavy modding for a while, so can i not just slap on an SLP lid and be done with it? If I add the SLP lid i don't need to tune the car do i?

Yeah, just get a lid. Dont bother with an after market Mass Air Flow Sensor. It'll cause you more problems than anything

Put the lid on and be done with it.. NO need for an 85mm MAF.. NO need for a re-tune.. The guy is full of S%^&!

Who told you that? Its a quick install even for a beginner. The only thing that sucks is fitting the lid over the MAF. Get out the hair dryer to heat up and expand the plastic and some grease to make it fit.
