Never mind, I just looked under the hood. . . . .

I don't know how this happened, but my 98 came with a carburated 572. . . . . Damn, it must be because it's a 98.

He thinking of LS6 Block. LS2 wasn't even out till 05. The Ls6 Block came on some 02s because Factory ran out of Ls1 Blocks. Its just the Block that is different.

only very few had ls6 blocks....theres someway you can check with the rpo door codes

This is crap. GM never "ran out" of LS1s in '02. The LS1 was produced for the C5 and GTO through the 2004 model year.
