maf ends question

some of these guys are right. even IF your car likes it, it's not worth destroying other functions over 2-3 h.p. that you wont even feel. that's why i laugh when people get into exhaust performance debates. pick what SOUND u like, because the difference in performance is negligable. what, 3-4 ponies? yeah, SURE u can feel the difference. back to the original question; the decision is painfully obvious. use your time and money towards better upgrades.

I agree with you faethor except when it comes to Flowmaster exhaust for fbodies. It is absolutely horrible in comparison to the rest. Excluding that one, all the other catbacks basically flow the same so you should go with the sound you like.

unless your maf is reaching max output , there is no reason to modify it. The ecu uses the maf for alot more than fueling. Datalog your maf with efilive and see if it needs it.
Removing the honeycomb is silly on a maf. That just causes turbulence and incorrect maf readings. They didn't put them there to collect leaves lol

Line pressure isn't the only thing affected in the ecu by an inaccurate maf reading. load up ls1edit and look at all of the parameters skewed by maf offsetting.
