Ground strap on passengers side????

Ground strap on passengers side???? I just got done installing my LS1 back in my 01 Camaro and I have noticed the black wire from the battery goes almost to the starter. Where does the black wire go????? I'm sure its a ground for the motor to the battery but where does it GO!!!!!!!!

Starter problem now. I'm having a grounding problem with the starter. What is the property way to hook up. I have the + on the right prong and the little wire is on the little post. Is the wire just touching something to ground it out or do I have it hooked up wrong. ANyone have any pictures or the proper way to install a starter?????
