[QUOTE=raysadude;11467782]hm never thought about using nitrous, but who knows lol
the guy at the pit told me to go around the waterbox for a while but strictly remind not to do burn out
there's no way on earth i could launch on 3500-4000 i'd spin the tires till the 1/4th mile lol
i'm shooting for 2.2/2.1 60ft now, what is actually make the 10 bold broken? higher rpm launching?
yea i'm probably gonna buy that later on, i'm focusing on power mods and maintenance as of now. No, dont go through the waterbox, just give the tires a quick spin & they will hook better. I did this & knocked .2 off my 60 foot time.
Main things that breaks the 10 bolt is high rpm launches, 5K rpms area, & powershifting. Thats speed shifting the trans without letting off the throttle. There are some vids of powershifting on youtube & the car really jolts from this.
On street tires & stock TA, 3500-4000 rpm launching might not work for you. I have to launch there or I wont run a good 60 foot time & I bog some. I would like to launch a lil higher rpm but tryin not to break the 10 bolt so soon. Try launching around 2500 & see how that works.
