Escalade Help
Escalade Help I have a 2002 Escalade AWD 6.0 with a Paxton Novi 1200 on it. When you floor it first gear it bounces rev limit before it shifts to 2nd. I recently bought the truck and the previous owner gave me an old superchips hand tuner. The tuner is older and does not allow you to change any of the shift points or anything. Does this sound like a tranny problem or just a shift point problem? Not sure of anyone around the Orlando Florida area that will tune this truck thats AWD. Any help would be appriciated.

well first of all, i'd never tune a boosted car with a hand held tuner, that being said, it could be your trans going bad. Sometimes if the clutches go bad in the trans it will hit the limiter before it shifts.
