Exclamation Whats wrong here?

I have a m6 with the stock gears and 10 bolt. Can any of you guys with a m6 spin the tires while idling in first gear or around 1500 rpm or so? Even when I rev it to about 4000 rpms and dump the clutch it bogs down when I get on the brake. My car just feels so sluggish. I have replaced the plugs, wires, and fuel filter and that didn't help either. Do yall have any ideas what could be going on? Thanks.

thats definitely not right... Id say cats, but looks like you dont have any... when it does that does it smell really bad? if so it may be the clutch. and from an idle, no you shouldnt be able to spin the tires, it will bog down.

oh ok, no i don't have cats.. no it doesn't smell bad either when i dump the clutch. I have no clue whats going on. It seems like it losing a lot of power some how. Even from like a 35 roll in second it doesn't seem like it is pulling as hard as it should.

I did have an ses light that was for a o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 1. I turned the light off to see if it would come back on then I was going to replace that sensor. You think that could be my problem? I did have some bald bfgoodrich tires and it was still didn't spin those like it should. It feels like a v-6 mustang could beat me now!

Check the knock sensors. I had a 2000 ls1 engine i swapped into another car and felt it was down on power also with no codes being thrown. Tech 2 showed bad knock sensor that wasn't throwing a code but still was malfunctioning.

My buddies car used to do the same thing, he got it tuned and it was fixed. Granted I don't know all of the details.

oh ok, I need a tune BAD! Im hoping that it will solve a lot of these problems. Is there any other sensors or something along those lines would cause it to act so sluggish. No I don't have that on my car. It came without TC. Thanks for all the advice!

Oh man, I miss the days of OL. My car felt so much stronger. OBDII is the bane of performance.

what is "open loop"?
OBDII is the plug under the dash to the computer right?

Haha, something like that... Open loop is when the PCM starts to vary parameters based on real time sensor readings, not the cold-start default program, essentially.
