Parts That will work woth a 99 5.3L Block I was looking to rebuild my 5.3L truck engine and I was wondering what in any LS parts would bolt up. I'm looking to bore the block and get new internals. But I was wondering what Heads, Intake and cam combo would work best. I'm not looking for anything extreme I would like to try and get 400 HP or a little more.

good luck, i hope your wallet is thick.....first off just about any parts off a ls1-2-3-6-7 will fit....but for a smaller bore i have no idea. id start with some headers exhaust pully then a ls1-6 intake, and texas speed has some ported 5.3 2.5 heads that flow a **** load and dont cost too much, and of course have patric g spec out a cam for you. im assuming this is a truck? also after it all you would need a tune...then id say you would be close
