cutouts

i was just wondering if i could put 2 cut outs on my y pipe. and if i can would it be louder? or will i get any performance out of it?

before the Ypipe merges into one?? it would not sound good, there would be somewhat of a loud puffy annoying noise. seeing as how there would be very little back pressure, torque would go down
