Default Formula Trans Am

whats the difference? i'm looking into buying a 'bird that says it's the "WS9 Formula Package" but i always thought the formula ones had that bumper that looks like it's from a vette, this one doesnt....

WS9 just means the car is V8 equipped.
W66 and Y82 RPO's determine the model

WS9 + W66 = Formula
WS9 + Y82 = Trans Am
WS9 + Y84 = Trans Am Convertible

And the reason why it's refered to as a Formula/Trans Am is becase the Vin nmbers are not model specific and the listings is probably based off the vin.

Both my car is and the post above me are Formula cars. Really the only difference is the front and rear bumpers along with the side skirts. Trans Ams also have a higher standard option list. I guess you could say the Formula cars look a little more Vette like.
