Default Vararam vr 3? does it work or waste of money?

Vararam VR-3 throttle body velocity stack Inserts
has anyone bought this or know about it?
does it work or just there to look nice?

Why would you want to reduce the size of the TB with an insert?

I was reading that in some tests done with this insert it threw down an additional 13 rwhp compared to just a stock TB..not bad for something thats half the price of a port/polish job at the shop.

i had one of those for a few yrs. its supposed to smoothe out airflow. i cant say it helped but it didnt hurt anything.

I have one on. I believe its suppose to take place of ported tb. Haven't notice any difference but we'll see when its tuned.
